I have been using my 3D printing plate since last year. Now, I got many scratches on it, some marks are quite a bit of strong and resulted in making obvious marks on my printed object.
To solve this problem, I use “packaging tape”, stick on the printing plate. It works fine but it may be difficult to take it off and will leave some tape glues on the plate. Anyway, it better than do not do anything or buy the new plate (59).

ช่วงนี้เริ่มปั่น(ปรินท์) ออบซี อย่างหนักหน่วง เพราะเราต้องการ อีก 8 ตัวใช้ในการทำวิจัยเก็บข้อมูลครั้งสุดท้ายในช่วงเดือนกพ.นี้ ปัญหาที่เจอคือตอนนี้ แผ่นรองปรินท์ เป็นรอยมากและทำให้ชิ้นงานที่ปรินท์ออกมาเป็นรอยไปด้วย เราเลยใช้เทปกาวแปะลงบนแผ่นรองปรินท์ สรุปว่าใช้งานได้ดี แต่ปัญหาที่ตามมาคือเวลาลอกออกยาก และมีกาวจากเทปติดอยู่ ตอนล้างออกก็ใช้แรงหน่อย แต่ก็ดีกว่าตอนไม่ใช้ อีกไอเดียนึงอาจใช้แผ่นสติกเกอร์ใสแผ่นใหญ่หน่อยแปะไปเลยก็น่าจะดีกว่าเพราะจะไม่มีรอยต่อ

The final study of OBSY.

This study is an extension of the study that took place in Thailand last year (2015). I conducted research study in urban and rural schools with 11 students and 2 teachers. I examined how students interact with our prototype called “Observation Learning System (OBSY)”  and investigated how well it supports learning in science experiments in order to prepare children for key elements of 21st century learning skills (critical thinking, creative thinking, collaborating and communicating). The observation research method was conducted with the purpose of understanding how students interact with their friends, teachers and OBSY. Questionnaires and interview sessions were employed to assess students’ engagement in learning and the usability of the OBSY system. In addition, the reliability, robustness and user-friendliness of the sensor device, mobile app and local Wi-Fi network were tested. The study provided me with valuable information on how to improve the prototype and future research methodology. I had feedback to revise the OBSY hardware and software in order to improve students’ attention, engagement, learning outcome and system performance.

The current study will further investigate how students further develop their content knowledge creation and learning engagement through OBSY implementation. Three science learning activities will be introduced to students including Hello Mouldy, My Little Mushrooms and Light Up. Students will learn about mould and mushrooms by growing them in different conditions to explore and identify what makes them grow fast and healthy. The Light Up activity will allow students to explore how light travels and to observe the amount of light which passes through various objects (transparent, translucent and opaque). Notably, the experimental research study will be applied for the field study in which OBSY is tested, one group will use OBSY to conduct the science experiments through tablet computers whilst another group will work/study without OBSY. We expect OBSY will provide positive effects on students’ learning outcome, learning engagement, attitudes and perception.
